According to the company’s RoC filing, Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurved’s overall income increased by 23.15% to ₹9,335.32 Crore in 2023-24, aided by other income such as OFS from Patanjali Foods (formerly known as Ruchi Soya) and income from other group businesses.
Patanjali Ayurved’s other income in FY24 was ₹2,875.29 Crore, compared to ₹46.18 Crore the previous year, according to financial data acquired through business intelligence platform Tofler.
Its revenue from operations, which is mostly income from net sales, fell 14.25% to ₹6,460.03 Crore for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. Patanjali Ayurved’s revenue was harmed when it moved its food business to Patanjali Foods on July 1, 2022, which included biscuits, ghee, cereals, and nutraceuticals.
It recorded a five-fold increase in overall profit to ₹2,901.10 Crore for FY24.
Patanjali Ayurved reported a total profit of ₹578.44 Crore on revenues of ₹7,533.88 Crore for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.
Patanjali’s Ayurved, a non-listed firm, reported a total income of ₹7,580.06 Crore in FY23.
Patanjali Ayurved’s advertising and promotional expenses increased 9.28% to ₹422.33 Crore in FY24.
Earlier this year, in July, the Haridwar-based organization Group announced the transfer of its entire home and personal care business from Patanjali Ayrurved to another entity, Patanjali Food, for ₹1,100 Crore.
