Torrent Pharmaceuticals slumped 12.97% to Rs 2750.70 after the companys consolidated net profit fell 16% to Rs 249 crore on 6% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 2,108 crore in Q3 December 2021 over Q3 December 2020.

The total revenues from operations of the company increased 6% yoy at Rs5,479cr in Q3FY22.

Glenmark’s current product portfolio includes 172 products authorized for distribution in the U.S. markets and 46 ANDA’s are pending for approval with the U.S. FDA.

On BSE, the MidCap index dived nearly 1.75%, while indices like Sensex 50 and Sensex Next 50 shed by 1.5% each.
