  1. Tech Mahindra: It appears that the IT company and its subsidiary, Comviva Technologies, have made a decision to sell their shareholdings in Comviva Technologies do Brasil Indústria, Comércio, Importação e Exportação Ltda. The sale involves the transfer of a 0.04% and 99.96% stake in the company.
  2. Wipro: Wipro, the IT services company, has set June 16, 2023, as the record date for determining the entitlement and eligibility of equity shareholders to participate in the buyback offer.
  3. Godrej Properties: Godrej Properties has increased its stake in Godrej Home Constructions from 74% to 100%. This means that Godrej Properties now owns the entire shareholding in Godrej Home Constructions with effect from June 2.
  4. SBI Life: IRDAI has identified SBI Life to take over the life insurance business of SILIC. This ensures that policyholders’ interests are protected, and their insurance coverage continues under the new insurer.
  5. Hero MotoCorp: The company has launched a new range of its 100cc motorcycle – the HF Deluxe. The HF-Deluxe is available at showrooms across the country at prices of Rs 60,760 for kick variant and Rs 66,408 for self-variant.
  6. Mahindra & Mahindra: MSPL has incorporated a company named Hazel. Hazel’s purpose is to engage in the production and sale of renewable energy, as well as generate renewable electricity.
  7. Lupin: The pharma major has launched Darunavir tablets in strengths of 600 mg and 800 mg. These tablets serve as a generic equivalent of Prezista tablets manufactured by Janssen Products, LP.
  8. Zydus Lifesciences: the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has completed an inspection of the company’s animal health drug manufacturing facility located in SEZ, Ahmedabad.
  9. IOC: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has incorporated a joint venture (JV) company with NTPC Green Energy Limited. The purpose of this JV is to develop renewable energy-based power projects.
  10. Tata Motors: Tata Motors is actively working on developing several compressed natural gas (CNG) and electric cars. It expects the growth rate of the passenger vehicle industry to moderate to 5-7% in the current financial year.
