Wipro announces AWS skills guild program, ‘Step Up'

Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting firm, announced the launch of its new Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills Guild at AWS re:Invent 2022.

The AWS Skills Guild is a comprehensive enablement programme for large enterprises that focuses on developing cloud skills through the integrated delivery of AWS learning opportunities. Wipro Step Up will transform the way employees engage with clients on their AWS Cloud journeys by utilising the AWS Skills Guild framework.

The AWS Skills Guild will provide technical experts across Wipro with the AWS Cloud competencies required to drive deeper engagement with clients, building on Wipro FullStride Cloud Services’ cloud domain expertise.

The programme will change the way Wipro employees interact and collaborate with clients, assisting them in building future-proof businesses and driving ongoing innovation on AWS Cloud.

The Step Up AWS Skills Guild’s first phase will begin in December 2022 and will eventually be rolled out to all employees, significantly increasing the number of employees with AWS Certifications.

At around 9.22 AM, Wipro was trading at Rs405.40 down by 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs405.70 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs403.55 and touched intraday high and low of Rs405.50 and Rs402.80 respectively.
