Rajan Anandan of Sequoia Capital to be the next chair of VC Council of IVCA

A new eight-member venture capital (VC) council has been formed by the Indian Venture & Alternate Capital Association (IVCA), the industry’s governing body for private equity and venture capital.

The managing director of Sequoia India and Southeast Asia, Rajan Anandan, has been named as the council’s chair.

Rahul Khanna, co-founder and managing director of Trifecta Capital, will co-chair the VC Council, which aims to promote interaction with the government by promoting policies that support innovation that aid in capital development, nation-building, and information sharing.
