           Corporate Snippets:

• WF Asian Reconnaissance Fund has bought 50 lakh equity shares in Policybazaar’s parent company, PB Fintech, for an average price of Rs 388 per share.
• Apollo Tyres’ consolidated profit in the September quarter increased y-o-y by 12% to Rs 194.5 crore.
• NBCC’s consolidated profit in  the September quarter increased y-o-y by 34% to Rs 95.5 crore.
• Biocon’s consolidated profit in the September quarter came down y-o-y 48.8% to Rs 81.8 crore.

           Economy Snippets:

• According to data from IDC, India’s smartphone demand in September quarter stood at 43 million units. This is the lowest number in three years.
• Finance Minister has asked Ministries to work more actively towards meeting their targets of asset monetization.
• India’s retail inflation in October stood at 6.77% on y-o-y basis.
• On a month-on-month basis, inflation stood at 0.80%.
