16 Aug 2022 , 10:01 AM

The company has secured orders for transmission & distribution (T&D) projects in India, Middle East and Americas. The order received is for 400 kV transmission line in India, from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). The companys subsidiary in UAE secured an order to supply towers in Middle East and SAE Towers, another subsidiary secured an order for supply of towers, hardware and poles in Americas. Further, the company won orders in the railways, civil and oil & gas pipelines segments in India. It has also secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International commented, ?The orders in T&D have enhanced our order book, especially the second order from PGCIL in quick succession has strengthened our domestic T&D business. We are particularly enthused by the order in Railways, which consolidates our leadership in the conventional Railway segment. The industrial order in Civil along with the orders announced earlier during the year, reflect an uptick in the private capex specifically in the metals & mining sector. The order in the Oil & Gas Pipeline business reaffirms our confidence that this business will become a significant part of KECs overall business portfolio in the coming years.? KEC International is a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major. It has presence in the verticals of power transmission and distribution, railways, civil, urban infrastructure, solar, smart infrastructure, oil & gas pipelines, and cables. The companys consolidated net profit tumbled 32.8% to Rs 31.02 crore on 30.6% surge in net sales to Rs 3,318.08 crore in Q1 FY23 over Q1 FY22. Powered by Capital Market - Live News
