Orient Electric standalone net profit declines 22.16% in the March 2022 quarter

Net profit of Orient Electric declined 22.16% to Rs 48.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 62.67 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales declined 6.04% to Rs 753.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 801.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. For the full year,net profit rose 5.76% to Rs 126.64 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 119.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 20.46% to Rs 2448.37 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 2032.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
