Tata Power Company’s shares rise by nearly 1% in early trade on September 15 after subsidiary TPREL unveils solar plant plans in Maharashtra. TPREL, a subsidiary of Tata Power, signs a power delivery agreement with Xpro India to develop a 3.125 MW AC group captive solar plant.
The solar plant in Achegaon, Maharashtra, aims to generate 7.128 million units of electricity annually, supporting Xpro India’s polymer processing business. The project is expected to mitigate approximately 51,660 tons of carbon dioxide emissions over a 25-year agreement term. Tata Power emphasizes commitment to promotingcontributingunveiledsignedrose renewable power adoption and contribute to India’s clean energy transition journey.
