Awiros, a deep tech firm, raises $7M

15 Sept 2022 , 11:05 AM

Startup company Awiros has received $7 Mn series A funding led by Inflexor Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners. Other participants in this round of funding included Veda VC, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs).

This round of funding will help Awiros to expand its teams in India and the United States, both in terms of technology and sales.
Vikram Gupta and Yatin Kavishwar founded Awiros in 2015 as a device-independent operating system (OS) for the quick creation and distribution of video AI apps.
As one of the fastest-growing videos AI businesses in India, Awiros will use the proceeds from this investment round to expand its market share, streamline its technical operations, and fund the R&D of both current and future product lines. Awiros will gain a lot from the wide knowledge of technology, international business, and scalable GTM of experienced deep-tech investors from Inflexor and Exfinity.

Jatin Desai, Managing Partner at Inflexor Ventures, said, “We are excited to partner with Vikram, Yatin and the team at Awiros as they take their patented AI-based computer vision operating system and app store to global markets and continue to grow in the domestic market. As cameras become even more ubiquitous globally there will be a huge addressable market for their products”.

Vikram Gupta said, “This funding round will help us build further momentum for global growth by increasing our market share, streamlining technical operations and investing in the R&D of existing and new product categories”.
