Eicher Motors logs a 5% decline in total sales in September

In a regulatory statement filed on the BSE, Eicher Motors, the manufacturer of the Royal Enfield motorcycle, revealed their sales figures for September 2023.

With 78,580 units sold, the company saw a 4% decrease in sales compared to September 2022, when the company logged sales of 82,097 units. The company’s overseas operations fell by a whopping 49%. The company’s exports fell from 8,451 units in September 2022 to 4,319 units in September 2023.

Models with engine capacities up to 350cc saw a 5% drop in sales, falling from 74,206 units in September 2022 to 70,345 in September 2023. However, sales of models with capacities greater than 350cc climbed by 4%, with the company selling 8,235 units.

At around 11.14 AM, Eicher Motors was trading 3.40% lower at Rs 3,329.80 per piece, against the previous close of Rs 3,446.95 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3,434.95, and Rs 3,302.90, respectively.
