According to news reports, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has authorized Vistara and IndiGo to launch new foreign flights in August.
According to the report, Vistara wanted to start flying to Bali in Indonesia from New Delhi, while IndiGo wanted permission from the regulator to start flying to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, from New Delhi.
According to them, Vistara operations on the Delhi-Bali route would begin on August 1 and IndiGo operations on the Delhi-Tbilisi route will begin on August 7 respectively.
Vistara and Air India, which is currently controlled by Tata Group, are in the process of combining.
IndiGo made intentions to expand its flight services to Kenya and Indonesia public in February of this year.
