GTPL Hathway's revenue jumps 10% y-o-y at Rs662 crore in Q2FY23; stock zooms ~2%

GTPL Hathway Limited announced its results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2022.

The company reported total revenue of Rs662 crore in Q2FY23, up by 10% yoy against Rs599.20 crore in Q2FY22. For H1FY23, the company recorded growth of 10% yoy at Rs1,307.40 crore, as compared to Rs1,183.50 crore in H1FY22.

The company reported EBITDA of Rs138.30 crore in Q2FY23, as compared to Rs144.30 crore in the previous corresponding quarter, registering a marginal decline.

Further, in Q2FY23, EBITDA Margin stood at 20.90% as compared to 24.10% in Q2FY22.

Company’s PAT for Q2FY23 was reported at Rs45.90 crore, as compared to Rs43.30 crore in Q2FY22, up by 6% yoy. For H1FY22, the company logged a PAT of Rs89.20 crore as compared to Rs90.80 crore in the previous corresponding period.

The company highlighted that its active subscribers have increased to 550k yoy.

The company further stated that it continues to expand its footprint in existing areas while also entering new markets via both organic and inorganic means.

At around 10.01 AM, GTPL Hathway was trading at Rs157.45 up by 1.94% from its previous closing of Rs154.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs155.15 and touched intraday high and low of Rs159.80 and Rs154.55 respectively.
