Honda Cars, Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu collaborate for vehicle scrapping

Honda Cars India announced that it has partnered with Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu for vehicle scrapping. The initiative will enable Honda to provide its customers with a one-stop shop for scrapping their EOL vehicles (ELVs).

Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) said in a statement that with this collaboration, the Japanese automaker hopes to help its customers get the best value for their ELVs and facilitate hassle-free deregistration and Certificate of Deposit/ Destruction through its dealer partners.

Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu India (MSTI) is a government-approved ELV scrapping and recycling firm that is establishing scrap and recycling centres throughout the country.

The service alliance will begin in the Delhi NCR, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. MSTI's coverage area will expand in the future with the addition of new scrappage centers.

He added that the company will provide its customers with a one-stop solution to scrap their old cars in a systematic and environmentally friendly manner through dealers.
