Indigo starts cargo flight operations

The inaugural international flight for IndiGo CarGo was between Kolkata and Yangon, Myanmar.

On Tuesday, the A321 P2F freighter flew general cargo with a payload of more than 19,000 kg.

Recently, the ship transported cargo between Delhi and Mumbai.

The most effective narrow-bodied freighter is the A321P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter conversion), which has 24 container locations and a cargo capacity of up to 27 tonnes.

Through a cooperative project between ST Engineering and Airbus the planes are being transformed.

Castlelake Aviation Holdings (Ireland) Limited, a global alternative investment company with 17 years of experience investing in, financing, and managing aviation assets, has provided funding to IndiGo for the lease of the aircraft.
