Poddar Pigments commences production at new manufacturing facility; to enhance capacity to 18000 MTPA

In its regulatory filing, Poddar Pigments informed the investors and exchanges that the company’s newly set up manufacturing facility company situated at Greater Sitapura Industrial Park, National Highway 12 (Jaipur-Tonk Road), Village Brijpura(Chaksu), Jaipur, Rajasthan has started commercial production effective from March 23, 2022.

The company has set up this unit to manufacture additive & colour masterbatches and engineering plastic compounds and the total installed capacity will get enhanced from 14400 MTPA to 18000 MTPA for the company.

The company stated that capacity depends upon a particular product mix and may vary with changes in the product mix.

Poddar Pigments is currently trading at Rs321.60 up by Rs38.15 or 13.46% from its previous closing of Rs283.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs289.90 and has touched day’s high and low of Rs322.80 and Rs289.20 respectively.
