Route Mobile-led arm inks exclusive agreement with Uganda Telecom for AI solutions

Route Mobile Limited’s wholly-owned subsidiary 365squared Limited, has signed an exclusive agreement with Uganda Telecommunications Corporation Limited to provide comprehensive AI/ML-based A2P SMS firewall solutions and managed services to enable UTCL to effectively analyse SMS traffic.

Furthermore, as an exclusive Gateway for UTCL, Route Mobile will leverage its global enterprise reach to maximise A2P SMS volumes terminating on the UTCL network.

365squared will deploy its real-time AI/ML-based A2P SMS firewall solution within Uganda Telecom’s SMS infrastructure, as well as integrate with the SSTP and ICB (Inter-connect Billing)/Reconciliation solution. It also includes other relevant network elements such as Testing, Commissioning, and Support, in its contracted capacity.

365squared will also provide managed services for the firewall solution, allowing UTCL to fully utilise it.

Furthermore, 365squared and Route Mobile will be the network’s Exclusive Gateway, driving higher volumes of A2P SMS traffic on the UTCL network.

At around 12.10 PM, Route Mobile was trading at Rs1,299.70 per piece, up by 0.72% from its previous closing of Rs1,290.45 on the BSE. The scrip touched an intraday high and low of Rs1,312.15 and Rs1,291.05 respectively.
