Tata Elxsi logs 49.3% yoy jump in PAT at Rs549.70 crore for FY22; stock climbs ~2%

Tata Elxsi Limited posted its results for the quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2022. The company has reported a robust performance for the period under review with double-digit growth numbers.

On the segmental front, Embedded Product Design (EPD), the company’s largest division, witnessed a growth of 35.7% yoy. Whilst its Industrial Design and Visualization (IDV) grew by 36% yoy.

Tata Elxsi is currently trading at Rs7,912.35 up by Rs104.3 or 1.34% from its previous closing of Rs7,808.05 on the BSE. It touched intraday high and low of Rs8,190.95 and Rs7,832 respectively.

The company logged 33.20% yoy growth in its revenue for Q4FY22 at Rs699.80 crore as compared to Rs525.20 crore in Q4FY21. Total income for FY22 jumped 34.80% yoy at Rs2,515.30 crore as against Rs1,865.90 crore in FY21.

Its EBITDA for Q4FY22 was reported at Rs221.20 crore as compared to Rs168 crore in Q4FY21, up by 31.70% yoy. EBITDA for FY22 was reported at Rs765.70 crore as compared to Rs522.40 crore in FY21, reporting a surge of 46.6% yoy.

Its PAT for FY22 was reported at Rs549.70 crore as against Rs368.10 crore in FY21, logging growth of 49.3% yoy. PAT for the quarter under review jumped 38.90% yoy at Rs160 crore as compared to Rs115.20 crore in Q4FY21.

EBITDA margins for Q4FY22 and FY22 were 32.5% and 31% respectively. While PAT Margin settled at 22.9% for Q4FY22, and 21.90% for FY22.

EPS for FY22 was reported at Rs88.26 and Rs25.69 for Q4FY22.
