Tata Technologies opens an Innovation Centre in Tennessee dedicated to vehicle software

Tata Technologies, a global leader in product engineering and digital services, has opened an Innovation Centre in Tamil Nadu dedicated to vehicle software.

The first of its sort will be located approximately 550 kilometres away in Coimbatore and would be dedicated to developing, testing, and integrating automotive software solutions to provide innovative solutions for global customers. During its initial phase of business, the company intends to hire 100 local software professionals. With a thriving engineering community and educational environment, Coimbatore is quickly becoming one of India's leading engineering hubs.

The innovation facility would concentrate on software initiatives related to vehicles, such as cyber security, connected cars, enhanced driver assistance systems, and embedded software development and testing. In a press statement, Tata Technologies MD and CEO Warren Harris stated, 'This strategic initiative will ensure a continuous exchange of talent, ideas, and solutions, propelling the industry forward into a future defined by innovation and efficiency.' 'Together, we aim to create a centre of excellence that will pioneer the future of vehicle software systems and contribute to our vision of engineering a better world' , he stated.

According to the firm, the new facility in Coimbatore would give local talent new chances to collaborate on international projects, advance their knowledge of new car software, and develop creative solutions for the whole automotive value chain.
