JSW Steel: The company has signed a Termination Agreement with National Steel Holding (NSHL) to end the joint venture agreement for the establishment of scrap shredding facilities in India, as well as a Securities Purchase Agreement with NSHL to purchase NSHL’s 50% ownership in NSL Green Recycling.
State Bank of India: Through its fourth infrastructure bond sale, the country’s largest lender raised Rs 10,000 crore at a coupon rate of 7.49%. Provident funds, pension funds, insurance firms, mutual funds, and corporations were among the investors. Bond earnings will be used to improve long-term resources for supporting infrastructure and affordable housing.
Lemon Tree Hotels: Lemon Tree Hotel, Mcleodganj, is the hotel chain’s newest franchised location. This is the group’s third property in Himachal Pradesh.
Kirloskar Oil Engines: Anurag Bhagania has resigned as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) owing to personal reasons. Anurag will step down as the company’s CFO on November 22.
SJVN: The state-owned hydroelectric power generation firm has received in-principle approval from its board members to securitize the future return on equity of the Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS).
IRCON International: Under the Indian line of credit, the public sector undertaking has executed a contract agreement with Sri Lanka Railways, Sri Lanka, for the work of procurement of design, installation, testing, commissioning, and certifying of signalling and telecommunication system from Maho Junction to Anuradhapura at a cost of $14.89 million (Rs 122 crore).
Reliance Industries: Alyssum Asia Holdings II Pte Ltd (KKR) subscribed for Rs 2,069.50 crore through Reliance Retail Ventures, and has been allotted 1,71,58,752 equity shares of the company.
Life Insurance Corporation of India: The Corporation received an order from the Bihar-Additional Commissioner State Tax (Appeal), in which the authority demanded Rs 290.49 crore in goods and services tax, plus interest and penalties. Within the timeframes specified, the Corporation will submit an appeal with the GST Appellate Tribunal against the aforementioned order.
Delta Corp: The casino chain has been notified by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence in Hyderabad that it must pay an alleged tax debt of Rs 11,139.61 crore, plus interest and penalties, from July 2017 to March 2022. Furthermore, if the corporation fails to do so, a show cause notice will be issued. The amount claimed in the DG Notice is calculated using the total gross bet value of all games played at the casinos during the relevant time.
Hinduja Global Solutions: Aviator Global Investment Fund, a foreign portfolio investor, has purchased 2.8 lakh shares, or 0.6% stake in the firm, through open market transactions at an average price of Rs 1,005 per share, in addition to the 2.93% shareholding held as of June 2023. Legends (Cayman) was the seller in the transaction.
