Union Bank of India raises Rs2200 crore via bond issue

Union Bank of India has informed to the exchanges regarding allotment of Tier-2 bonds in two tranches aggregating to Rs2200 crore.

According to the regulatory filing, the Bank has allotted Unsecured, Subordinated, Non-Convertible, Taxable, Fully Paid-Up Basel III Compliant Tier- 2 Bonds in the nature of Debentures eligible for inclusion in Tier 2 Capital (“Bonds”) in two tranches of Rs1500 crore and Rs700 crore aggregating to Rs2200 crore on November 29, 2022.

At around 9:16 AM, Union Bank of India is currently trading at Rs81.40 per share down by Rs0.8 or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs82.20 per share on the BSE.
