UTI Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “hybrid category”, named as UTI Balance Advantage Fund. This open-ended fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation and income by investing predominantly in equity and debt securities.
Investment strategy: The scheme may utilize an internal proprietary model to monitor the market to ascertain asset allocation opportunities from time to time. This model may provide broad guidance regarding the relative valuation levels and scope of the market opportunities as may be relevant for investing.
Asset allocation: The Scheme will invest in equity and debt instruments as may be permitted by the SEBI from time to time with minimum and maximum asset allocation.

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 years in a mutual fund should invest in UTI Balance Advantage Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from July 21 to August 4. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 500/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
