VIP Clothing ropes in Sunil Kumar Alagh as a strategic advisor

Sunil Kumar Alagh, former managing director and chief executive officer of Britannia Industries, will join VIP Clothing Limited as a strategic advisor, the leading innerwear brand in India with a 52-year legacy in the innerwear industry.

Following Britannia, Alagh established SKA Advisors, a consulting firm that advises clients on marketing strategies. In 2004, he was elected President of the All India Management Association (AIMA) and served on the Board of Prasar Bharati Ltd.

He currently serves on the boards of Eveready and Pritish Nandy Communications, and he has advised a number of leading Indian companies.

Sunil Kumar Alagh will spend time with VIP Clothing’s portfolio of brands to help them build category leadership in India and export markets.

VIP Clothing Ltd currently owns five brands: VIP, Frenchie, Feelings, Leader, and Brat, each with its own identity and classification. The product offerings are geared toward men, women, and children. The core offerings are innerwear products, which are now being expanded to include outerwear for men and women, as well as accessories.
