Wipro’s CFO Jatin Dalal steps down; Aparna Iyer to take charge

Wipro Chief Financial Officer Jatin Dalal resigned from the company, the IT giant announced on August 21. Dalal has been Wipro’s CFO since 2015 and has been with the company for over 21 years. On November 30, he will take leave from the company.

Aparna Iyer, the CFO of Wipro’s FullStride Cloud Global Business Line, will be the next CFO, beginning on September 22.

Dalal stated in his resignation letter that he wishes to pursue professional aspirations outside of the organization. 

Dalal’s departure comes at a time when the corporation has seen a flurry of top-tier departures. Chief Operations Officer Sanjeev Singh, Americas 2 CFO Nithin V Jaganmohan, iDEAS business head Rajan Kohli, India head Satya Easwaran, Americas 1 CFO Kamini Shah, Vice President Gurvinder Sahni, head of healthcare and medical devices unit Mohd Haque, and head of manufacturing and hi-tech business unit Ashish Saxena have all left the company since 2023.

Incoming CFO Iyer, like Dalal, has been with the IT firm for two decades. She has worked in the company’s financial department in a variety of capacities, including Internal Audit, Business financial, Finance Planning and Analysis, Corporate Treasury, and Investor Relations.

According to Wipro, Iyer has extensive experience in financial risk management, capital allocation, fundraising, and driving business strategy and growth.
