INDUSTRY STRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT

The Indian economy continued to exhibit resilience during the financial year despite global geopolitical uncertainties, inflationary pressures, supply chain disruptions, and volatile commodity prices. Strong domestic demand, continued government emphasis on infrastructure development, policy reforms, and increasing manufacturing activities have supported economic growth and strengthened Indias position as one of the fastest-growing major economies.

The Company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing, procuring, buying, selling, converting and trading in iron and steel products, carbon (diamond), non-ferrous metals including gold, and ferrous and non-ferrous scrap such as mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel and allied products.

The iron and steel industry remains one of the key pillars of Indias industrial and economic development, catering to sectors such as infrastructure, construction, engineering, automobiles, capital goods and manufacturing. The growing emphasis on infrastructure creation, urbanization and industrial expansion is expected to continue supporting long-term demand for steel and allied products.

The Company also sees opportunities in the organized trading of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, recycling of scrap materials, value-added steel products, and expansion of its customer base. The anticipated improvement in global economic conditions and increasing industrial activity are expected to further support the Companys long-term growth prospects.
