What was the idea behind OLL?

I started OLL When I was 15, at that time I took the biggest risk of my life. I left my home and on the way started donating all my belongings – wallet slipper watch, mostly all essentials. And finally when I gave my cycle to a boy who was under privileged he took the cycle and said these exact words, ‘ Bhaiya Mera sapna poora ho gaya.’

I started OLL as I realised that kids have a lot of potential but not enough opportunities and exposure. I had first-hand experience with the limitations of the current educational system and wanted to create a platform that could help students develop practical skills that they could use in the real world.

Help us understand the company’s business model.

OLL is a platform for Learners to explore Certified Courses for New Age Skills at affordable prices. Their current target audience is Standard 1^st – 10^th grade kids in Tier 2 and 3 Cities. Where awareness of education outside schooling is low and teachers are not available!

They Filter and Partner with Top teachers to List their Live Classes in Skills like Coding, Robotics, Public Speaking, Financial awareness and OLL connects them to eager Learners through Schools.

OLL is trying to bridge the gap by introducing technical skills for students across the country. Using technology as an integrator, OLL has reached out to 32000 students across India and counting. More than 2000 teachers have joined the OLL bandwagon to help students with skills related to technology, finances, robotics, Fintech, coding, public speaking, courses in multiple languages.

What are your plans to disrupt the ed-tech market in the Tier 2/3 cities and beyond?

I wanted to reach to 1 Billion Children, I want to create awareness and distribution to reach each and every town and city and village, through the schools and physical centers. We are investing in Tech and Product, our main focus is to create a great renewal and word of mouth

What are your growth and expansion plans after fund raising from shark tank?

We have planned to offer free skill development training to 1 Lakh underprivileged students and contribute to their bright futures. We have always known the importance of urgent need for the 100 basic courses which will be offered to 1 lakh students that register on our platform. OLL is offering 4 courses – Public Speaking, Personality Development, Vedic Math, Resume Building, Python Coding to underprivileged for a duration of 2 months. The classes will be conducted online through our portal. OLL offers engaging live courses that are Stem and UNESCO accredited for new age trending skills. Are you looking to raise funds again in the next 18-24 months?

We’ve already raised Rs.1.5 crore in seed funding so far, This year, we’re planning to raise another round of funding of Rs 1.5 crore.
