5 CPSEs pay Government Rs 1,203 crore in dividends

Five CPSEs, including SAIL, HUDCO, and IRCTC, have paid the government Rs1,203 crore in dividend tranches. With this, the government has received a total of Rs14,778 crore in dividends from PSEs so far this fiscal.
Tuhin Kanta Pandey, the secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), tweeted that the government has received dividend payments from SAIL, HUDCO, and IREL totaling roughly Rs604 crore, Rs450 crore, and Rs37 crore, respectively. Additionally, IRCTC paid out roughly Rs81 crore and Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Co Ltd received Rs31 crore in dividend tranches, according to Pandey.
