In order to provide cloud solutions to enterprise clients, Airtel and Vultr have launched a strategic alliance. According to the telco, the cooperation will expand India’s digital ecosystem’s access to a number of technologies, including cloud computing, infrastructure, and GPU services.
In a news release, Airtel stated that Vultr, the biggest privately held cloud computing business in the world, will assist its enterprise customers in gaining a competitive cost-performance edge as they design, test, and run demanding cloud applications.
Ganesh Lakshminarayan, CEO, Enterprise, Airtel Business, told ET, ‘Our relationship with Vultr comes at a very exciting moment as the country continues to aggressively embrace 5G technology and progressively use digital solutions as a means of doing business.’
Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR data centres will serve as the hosting locations for the cloud offerings. The enterprise solutions will include cloud services. For advanced workloads related to AI, machine learning, HPC, analytics, visual computing, and gaming use cases, these include Cloud Compute and Optimised Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, and fractionalised GPU services.
‘Vultr offers unmatched price-to-performance and global reach with 30 cloud data centre locations worldwide, including three facilities in India in Airtel data centres,’ J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Constant ( the parent company of Vultr) told ET.
