Axis Bank has informed to the exchanges regarding allotment of equity shares.
As per the filing, the Bank has allotted 1,45,094 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each of the Bank on December 26, 2022, pursuant to exercise of stock options under its ESOP Scheme.
Accordingly, the paid-up share capital of the Bank has accordingly increased from to Rs. 614,96,23,648 (307,48,11,824 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each) to Rs. 614,99,13,836 (307,49,56,918 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each).
Further, the latest interest rates on fixed deposits of less than Rs2 crore of Axis Bank are in force from December 27, 2022. According to the bank’s official website, on deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years, the bank is offering interest rates ranging from 3.50% to 7.00% for non-senior citizens and senior citizens can earn interest rates ranging from 3.50% to 7.75%.
Also, Non-senior citizens can receive a maximum interest rate of 7% on deposits that mature in 2–10 years, while elderly individuals can get a maximum return of 7.75%.
At around 12:15 PM, Axis Bank was trading at Rs934 per share higher by 0.16% on the BSE.
