BCPL Railway Infra bags new order under Sealdah Division, Eastern Railway

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited informed that it has received an order from Sealdah Division, Eastern Railway, Electrical.

The order received is for 25 KV OHE & allied electrical works in connection with Barrackpur-Krishnanagar City – Replacement of Critical Implantation OHE Masts over Sealdah Division (Phase-VII).

The total project cost is Rs2.19 crore, and it is expected to be completed in 12 months.

“We, at BCPL, have provided unparalleled services that have helped to connect various parts of the country, and we are confident that we will continue to serve the Indian Railways in the future.” We are optimistic about similar projects coming up on a pan-India basis,” said the company in its media release.

The Company’s management is optimistic about the Government’s plans for the country’s infrastructure sector and hopes to secure significant orders from the Railways.

The H1 FY2022-23 results for the period ended September 30, 2022, demonstrated that the company’s railway business was able to exit the path of the headwind conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

At around 2.38 PM, BCPL Railway Infra was trading at Rs48.85, up by 0.62% against previous close of Rs48.55 on BSE. The counter hit intraday high and low of Rs49.50 and Rs48.10 respectively.
