Shriram Multi Asset Allocation Fund NFO: Essential details you need to know

Shriram Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “hybrid category”, named as Shriram Multi Asset Allocation Fund. This open-ended fund aims to generate long-term capital appreciation with inflation beating returns by investing in Equity and Equity related securities, Debt and Money Market instruments, Gold/Silver ETFs, and REITs / InvITs.

Investment strategy: The Scheme may utilize in house fundamental research and quantitative framework to monitor the markets to decide the asset allocation mix in various asset classes.

Asset allocation: The scheme would invest a minimum of 65% of total assets in equity & equity related instruments and the rest in Debt and Money Market instruments, Gold/Silver ETFs, and REITs / InvITs.

Who should invest?

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 5 to 7 years in multi asset mutual fund should invest in Shriram Multi Asset Allocation Fund. 

Risk associated: Very high level of risk.

Benchmark: Nifty 50 TRI (70%) + NIFTY Short Duration Debt Index (20%) + Domestic prices of Gold (8%) + Domestic prices of Silver (2%).

The NFO is available for subscription from August 18 to September 1. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
