  1. Wipro: Nokia and the IT major have established a new, five-year strategic partnership. The new contract expands on a connection that was first formed more than 20 years ago.
  2. Larsen&Tubro: The engineering and construction giant claimed that increasing operating revenue caused its consolidated net profit to rise 44.9% to Rs1,702.07 crore in the June 2022 quarter. In the same period last year, the company reported a combined net profit of Rs1,174.44 crore.
  1. United Spirits: For the first quarter that concluded on June 30, 2022, the liquor manufacturer under Diageo’s control reported a consolidated net profit that increased by more than five times, to Rs261.1 crore. In the months of April through June of the previous year, the company reported a net profit of Rs50.3 crore.
  1. Bajaj Auto: Due to a semiconductor shortage, the two-wheeler industry giant’s consolidated net profit for the June quarter fell slightly to Rs1,163 crore. In the same period last year, the Pune-based company reported a net profit of Rs1,170 crore.
  1. Tata Power: In the April through June quarter of the current fiscal year, the power generation company reported a nearly 90% increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs883.54 crore due to higher income. In the same quarter of 2021—2022 the company had reported a net profit of Rs465.69 crore.
  1. JSW Energy: Ind-Barath Energy (Utkal) Ltd, which is building a 700 MW thermal power project in Odisha, has been cleared for acquisition, by the National Company Law Tribunal, according to the utility provider. The 700 MW thermal power station is owned by the Ind-Barath.
  1. Relaxo Footwear: In the June quarter, the footwear manufacturer’s net profit increased by 24.9% to Rs38.67 crore. The business reported a profit of Rs30.96 crore for the quarter ending in June last year.
  1. Zydus Lifesciences: The manufacturer of the medication said that the US health regulator had given its final approval for it to put its generic version of the high blood pressure medication bisoprolol fumarate tablets on the market. The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has authorized the use of bisoprolol fumarate tablets in strengths of 5 mg and 10 mg.
  1. Union Bank of India: Due to higher net interest income and an improvement in asset quality, the state-owned institution reported a 32% increase in its standalone profit after tax (PAT) to Rs1,558 crore for the June quarter. In the equivalent quarter of the prior fiscal, it had reported a standalone PAT of Rs1,181 crore.
  1. Tata Investment Corporation: With increasing dividend income, the investment company’s consolidated profit after tax increased by 66.52% to Rs89.74 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2022. In the same fiscal quarter, the company reported a consolidated profit after tax of Rs59.89 crore.
