PI Industries: Udaipur-based agrochemicals company reported a 5.8% YoY increase in net profit to ₹508.2 Crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2024. In the preceding fiscal quarter, PI Industries reported a net profit of ₹480.5 Crore, according to a regulatory filing. Revenue from operations climbed by 4.9% to ₹2,221 Crore from ₹2,116.9 Crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
Torrent Power: In Q2 FY25, the company’s net profit fell by 8.6% to ₹481 Crore from ₹526 Crore the previous year. The dip was attributable to a lower contribution from thermal generating, owing mostly to fewer merchant sales, notably LNG, and decreased electricity demand caused by protracted monsoon conditions.
Sun TV Network: The South-based broadcaster experienced an 11.9% year-on-year (YoY) reduction in net profit of ₹409.2 Crore for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024. In the preceding fiscal quarter, Sun TV Network reported a net profit of ₹464.5 Crore, according to a regulatory filing. Revenue from operations decreased by 10.9% to ₹934.5 Crore, compared to ₹1,048.5 Crore the previous year.
Apollo Tyres: The Gurugram-based company reported a 37.3% year-on-year (YoY) fall in net profit to ₹297.4 Crore for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024. In the preceding fiscal quarter, Apollo Tyres reported a net profit of ₹474 Crore.
Brigade Enterprises: In the second quarter ending September 30, 2024, the real estate firm’s net profit decreased by 10.9% year on year to ₹119 Crore. Brigade Enterprises reported a net profit of ₹133.5 Crore in the same period last fiscal year. The company’s revenue from operations decreased by 21.5% to ₹1,072.2 Crore, compared to ₹1,366.6 Crore last year. In Q2 of this fiscal year, EBITDA decreased by 10.1% to ₹291.9 Crore from ₹324.7 Crore the previous year.
Deepak Nitrite: The corporation announced a double-digit increase in revenue but a decrease in net profit and EBITDA in its second-quarter financial reports on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The company’s net profit decreased by 5.3% year on year to ₹194.2 Crore, from ₹205 Crore in the same period last year. Revenue increased by 14.3% to ₹2,032 Crore, compared to ₹1,778 Crore in the previous year.
Vodafone Idea: Vodafone Idea Ltd (Vi) released its financial results for the second quarter (July-September) of FY2024 on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The telco’s net loss increased to ₹7,176 Crore from ₹6,432 Crore in the previous quarter. VI’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 4% QoQ to ₹10,932.2 Crore in Q2, up from ₹10,508.3 Crore in Q1.
