Top stocks in focus: Burger King, Axis Bank, Indian Energy Exchange, Deepak Nitrite, Maruti

Burger King India: The company narrowed loss to Rs15.15cr in Q3FY22 against loss of Rs29cr in Q3FY21; revenue jumped to Rs279.89cr from Rs163.19cr yoy.

Axis Bank: The bank reported a sharp rise in profit at Rs3,614cr in Q3FY22 against Rs1,116.6cr in Q3FY21. Revenue rose to Rs8,653.4cr from Rs7,372.8cr yoy.

Indian Energy Exchange: The company reported higher profit at Rs80.73cr in Q3FY22 against Rs58.14cr in Q3FY21, revenue rose to Rs117.54cr from Rs85.23cr yoy.

Deepak Nitrite: The company reported higher profit at Rs242.46cr in Q3FY22 against Rs216.56cr in Q3FY21, revenue jumped to Rs1,722.27cr from Rs1,234.69cr yoy.

Maruti Suzuki will shortly commence work on its new manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana and it could emerge as the largest production base for Maruti in India. The company will announce its quarterly financial results on Tuesday.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has downplayed concerns around its 4G slowing subscriber growth with Managing Director Ravinder Takkar pinning it down to SIM consolidation and tariff hikes, which had led to some of the subscriber exits.

Ramco Cements: The company reported a lower profit at Rs82.6cr in Q3FY22 against Rs201.4cr in Q3FY21, revenue rose to Rs1,549cr from Rs1,339cr yoy.

Craftsman Automation: The company reported lower profit at Rs37.6cr in Q3FY22 against Rs43.4cr in Q3FY21, revenue increased to Rs554.1cr from Rs489cr yoy.

Sudarshan Chemical Industries: The company reported lower profit at Rs36.38cr in Q3FY22 against Rs39.16cr in Q3FY21, revenue jumped to Rs601.75cr from Rs506.37cr yoy.
