Google will aid 100 Indian businesses in scaling up, with the second edition of its Appscale Academy initiative, in cooperation with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (MeitY) Startup Hub.
Google’s growth and development initiative, Appscale Academy, teaches early- to mid-stage entrepreneurs how to create apps. The initiative, which was launched in 2022, assisted 100 startups with scalability last year. Applications are now being accepted by the company for the 2023 program.
In tier-2 and tier-3 cities, about half of India’s startups are located.
Additionally, Google declared that it would begin a multi-city roadshow with the goal of interacting with over 1,000 entrepreneurs in hotspots for startups including Surat, Indore, Coimbatore, Gangtok, and Jaipur.
