Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “ETF-FOF category”, named as Kotak Silver ETF Fund of Fund. This open-ended fund of fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation with the primary objective of generating returns by investing in units of Kotak Silver ETF.
Investment strategy: The investment objective of the Scheme is to generate returns that are in line with the performance of the underlying scheme, subject to tracking error. The underlying Scheme may invest in Silver and Silver related instruments. The Scheme is an open ended Fund of Fund Scheme, investing in units of Kotak Silver ETF. It is expected that there would be a number of subscriptions and redemptions on a daily basis.
Asset allocation: The net assets of the Scheme will be invested in units of Kotak Silver ETF and debt & money market instruments.
Who should invest?
Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 7 to 10 years in a mutual fund should invest in Kotak Silver ETF Fund of Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from March 13 to March 27. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
