Markets end the day in Green

Indian equity markets ended the day in Green today. Markets are expecting the US Federal Federal Reserve to go for a lower 25 basis point interest rate hike today. Nifty 50 ended, up by 39.30 points. Sensex ended, up by 139.91 points. Top Gainers today were HDFC Life, Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv. Top Losers today were BPCL, NTPC and Coal India. 

All the broader market indices ended the day in Green. Buying demand was seen in some pharma stocks, healthcare stocks, auto stocks etc. Idea, Yes Bank, and Zomato were the most traded stocks today at NSE, in terms of volume. ICICI Bank, Infosys, and Reliance were the most traded stocks in terms of value.

16 stocks touched new 52-week high today at NSE. 84 stocks touched new 52-week low.
