Gujarat Inject (Kerala) Ltd Company Summary

Gujarat Inject Kerala Limited was incorporated in January, 1991. The Company was originally promoted by Gujarat Inject Limited and the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation. There was no operation during the first half of the year 1998-99.

The Company had entered into a manufacturing contract with a reputed. I. V.

Fluid manufacturer during the second half of the year 1999. Since the Company was facing financial constraints due to inadequate working capital, the reference made to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction was considered by BIFR in its meeting held on 1.6.99, and declared the company as sick Industrial Unit. The Industrial Financial Corporation of India was appointed as Operating Agency for rehabilitation of the Company.

The year 2001-02, was better with respect to plant capacity utilization, Company entered into a job work contract with M/S Fresenius Kabi (India) Pvt. Ltd., Pune for the manufacture of IV fluids. The Company added one more Bottle pack Machine supplied by M/s.

Fresenious Kabi (India) Pvt.Ltd., Pune for production of I.V.FIuids in 100 ml bottles and started production in April, 2005. Later during the period of 2015, the Company did not have production activities for the year since IFCI sold the assets of the Company and could not carry out any activities without assets.
