Adani Green Energy Announces CFO and Head of Security Leadership Changes

On September 14, Adani Green Energy announced a leadership change effective October 1, 2024. Saurabh Shah, the current Deputy Chief Financial Officer, will replace Phuntsok Wangyal as Chief Financial Officer, who is resigning on September 30, 2024.

Wangyal’s resignation marks the end of his tenure as CFO, a role he has held since joining the company.

Saurabh Shah, with over 22 years of experience in financial management, will step into his new role, bringing extensive expertise in financial accounting, reporting, planning, budgeting, and investor relations.

In another leadership shift, Colonel Shaminder Singh Jamwal will become the new Head of Security, also starting October 1, 2024. Colonel Satyajeet Ghoshal, the outgoing Head of Security, will transition to a new role within the CEO’s office focusing on business intelligence and technology transformation.
