Apollo Hospitals Appoints Madhu Sasidhar as President and CEO of Hospital Division

Madhu Sasidhar, Chief Strategy Officer at Apollo Hospitals and Enterprises Ltd. (AHEL), was appointed as President and CEO of the hospital division effective April 1.

This transition follows a planned strategy initiated in October 2023. K. Hari Prasad, the current President of Apollo Hospitals, is to retire on March 31 after serving for 27 years.

Dr. Madhu’s responsibilities include overseeing Apollo’s hospital business and ensuring the delivery of top-notch clinical outcomes and patient care.

Prior to joining Apollo, Dr. Madhu held roles at Cleveland Clinic, including President of Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital.

Dr. Madhu, a practising physician with U.S. board certifications, assumed the role of Chief Strategy Officer on October 1, 2023.
