Infosys Expands AI Collaboration with Microsoft to Boost Global GenAI Adoption

Infosys Ltd and Microsoft announced an expanded strategic collaboration to accelerate global adoption of generative AI (Gen AI) and Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. The partnership aims to maximize technology investments and drive global digital transformation for their joint customers.

Infosys, an early adopter of Microsoft’s AI-powered coding tool GitHub Copilot, has over 18,000 developers using the tool, generating more than seven million lines of code.

Infosys was selected as a strategic supplier for Microsoft’s enterprise customers, supporting cloud and AI workloads. Infosys will integrate Microsoft’s generative AI offerings across its own AI solutions like Infosys Topaz, Cobalt, and Aster to enhance scalability, agility, and cost-efficiency for clients.

Many solutions will be available through Azure Marketplace, allowing customers to use their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC).

In financial services, Infosys Finacle will work with Microsoft’s advanced tools to help institutions innovate and transform. Infosys Helix, built on Microsoft Azure, will streamline healthcare processes, optimize patient outcomes, and reduce costs.

Supply chain and telecommunications sectors will benefit from enhanced agility, process optimization, and customer connectivity through the combined capabilities of Infosys and Microsoft’s GenAI.
