Power Mech Wins ₹972 Crore Township Contract from TSGENCO at Yadadri

Power Mech Projects won a township project with a value of ₹971.98 crore. The Hyderabad-based engineering and infrastructure firm secured the order from Telangana Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (TSGENCO). The project comprises designing, engineering, and construction of a fully integrated residential township with supporting infrastructure.

The work scope entails:

• Soil investigation and site levelling
• Construction of self-contained A & B type quarters and multistoried (Stilt +10 floors) D, E & F type residential quarters
• Construction of major amenities such as a hospital building, school, clubhouse, indoor stadium, sports complex, and commercial complexes
• Installation of firefighting systems, multipurpose halls, maintenance offices, and security rooms
• Development of infrastructure such as roads, drains, rainwater harvesting pits, underground water tanks, septic tanks, STP, and OHSR
• Avenue plantation and parking sheds for the whole township
• Street lighting, compound walls, BT approach road, and Tungapadu Vagu bridge
• Power substation installation to serve the township

Development will take place at Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Nalgonda district, Telangana. It is part of Power Mech’s growing presence in mass-scale infrastructure and residential township projects.

Previously in April 2025, Power Mech won a ₹425 crore contract from Mirzapur Thermal Energy, Uttar Pradesh. Also, the firm recently secured a ₹972.13 crore order from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for building a 4-lane bypass in Jharkhand under the hybrid annuity mode. These strategic project wins place for Power Mech as a major player in India’s industrial, infrastructure, and public sector development space.
