Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) also recorded a strong sales performance for April 2025, with a year-on-year growth of 33% and overall sales of 27,324 units.
Against the same month previous year, the company had dispatched 20,494 units to dealers, indicating consistent demand for its range of vehicles. Out of the total April 2025 sales, 24,833 units were sold locally and 2,491 units exported, a balanced input from the domestic and overseas market.
The company attributed the robust performance to its multi-pathway strategy which is offering customers technology choice between hybrid cars and conventional powertrains.
This strategic reaction has helped TKM remain in sync successfully with evolving Indian buyers’ taste, thereby facilitating sustained momentum in its whole range of offerings.
Varinder Wadhwa, Sales, Service, and Used Car Business Vice President, noted that Toyota’s quick reaction to the change in customer demand has been significant in sustaining the high demand level.
He also noted the upbeat market response towards the updated Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which now comes with enhanced safety, comfort, and convenience features.
The new version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has also increased its appeal among SUV buyers and propelled the sales volume in April. Toyota Kirloskar Motor remains dedicated to staying responsive to the needs of the customer, and the company continues to launch innovative products and value-added services in India’s automotive sector.
