Waaree Energies Bags Solar Module Orders Worth 524 MWp Across India

Waaree Energies Ltd. has received new orders for the supply of solar modules totaling 364 MWp and 160 MWp to large renewable power developers in India. The delivery of these solar modules will be in FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26, the company said while filing an exchange on December 2.

This is the third significant order Waaree Energies has received since its stock market debut on October 28. The company has announced orders for 600 MWp and 180 MWp from well-known renewable energy project developers in November.

Waaree Energies is a market leader in the Indian solar energy market with a PV module manufacturing capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023. The five manufacturing units are located at Surat, Tumb, Nandigram, Chikhli (Gujarat), and Noida, Uttar Pradesh. These new orders further strengthen the position of Waaree Energies as a supplier Indians can depend on in the growing space of renewable energy.
