Wipro Appoints Anne-Marie Rowland as Capco CEO, Lance Levy to Serve as Strategic Advisor

21 Mar 2024 , 01:54 PM

Wipro announced the appointment of Anne-Marie (Annie) Rowland as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capco.

Rowland currently serves as the Managing Partner of Capco's UK and Ireland business and is part of Capco's Global Leadership Team. Her tenure as CEO of Capco is set to commence from April 1, 2024.

In her new role, Rowland will report directly to Wipro's CEO and Managing Director, Thierry Delaporte, and will also join Wipro's Executive Committee (WEC).

Lance Levy, who has led Capco as CEO for nearly a decade, will transition into a new position as a strategic advisor, offering support for Capco's strategic direction and Wipro's consulting strategy.

Wipro's CEO, Thierry Delaporte, praised Levy's leadership, acknowledging his significant contributions to Capco's growth and positioning it as a leading transformation consultancy.

Anne-Marie Rowland brings 14 years of experience at Capco, specializing in business change management, innovation, and transformation.

Throughout her tenure, Rowland has held various executive roles within Capco, including global head of consulting and transformation practice and global client partner for major financial institutions.

Rowland's leadership roles have also extended to serving on the Capco Global Leadership Team and spearheading initiatives such as Women@Capco.

Wipro's acquisition of Capco in 2021 solidified the latter's position as a leading financial services management consultancy with over 25 years of industry expertise.

Following this announcement, Wipro Ltd's shares closed at ₹501.15, marking a 1.55% increase on the NSE.
