Apollo Hospitals, a leading hospital network, announced a 63% increase in net profit to ₹379 Crore for the quarter ending September 30, 2024, compared to the previous year. In the previous year’s quarter, the figure was ₹233 Crore.
Revenue from operations in the same period increased 15% year on year to ₹5,589 Crore in July-September 2024, compared to ₹5,589 Crore in the same period last year. EBITDA for the second quarter was ₹816 Crore, a 30% year-on-year increase.
The first half of FY25 has been an exciting period for us, as evidenced by these key milestones targeted at expanding the reach and impact of our healthcare services,” stated Prathap C Reddy, Founder and Chairman of Apollo Hospitals.
During the quarter, Healthcare Services (HCS) revenue increased by 14% YoY to ₹2,903 Crore, while AHLL revenue increased by 14% YoY to ₹404 Crore.
Apollo HealthCo’s drug distribution and digital health revenues are ₹2,282 Crore, up 17% year on year. The GMV of Apollo 24/7 is ₹757 Crore.
Apollo Hospitals has 7,994 operating beds across its network in September 2024 (excluding AHLL and managed beds). Overall hospital occupancy was 73%, up from 68% the previous year, owing to a significant rise in patient traffic across institutions.
