Gaurav Gandhi elevated as VP, APAC of Prime Video

Gaurav Gandhi has been promoted to Vice President of Asia Pacific at streaming giant Prime Video, effective April. Gandhi will be based in Singapore in his new position.

Along with India, he will lead APAC, which includes Japan and South East Asia.

Sushant Sreeram, currently Director of Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD), will be promoted to Country Director, Prime Video, India.

Gandhi has been in charge of Prime Video’s overall business in India since 2018, overseeing SVOD, Marketplace (Prime Video Channels & TVOD), and Sports.

Prior to joining Amazon, he held various leadership positions at Viacom18, NDTV Imagine, and Star India.

Sreeram has worked closely with Gaurav since he joined Amazon as Director of Marketing in 2018 and was promoted to Director of SVOD Business in 2022.

As the SVOD business leader, he was given the responsibility to growing the SVOD business through subscriber acquisition, growth, and engagement across B2B and B2C segments.
