On Monday (September 9), HG Infra Engineering Ltd received a ₹781.11 Crore contract from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) to upgrade NH 47.
The project entails improving an existing six-lane road, including an elevated corridor, between Narol junction and Sarkhej junction on National Highway 47 in Gujarat. The hybrid annuity method (HAM) will be used to carry out the project, which will stretch 10.630 kilometres and take 2.5 years to complete.
Last month, HG Infra Engineering was the lowest bidder (L1) for a road upgrade project in Gujarat. MoRTH anticipated a project cost of ₹883.24 Crore, while HG Infra bid ₹781.11 Crore.
