Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) announced its results for the quarter ended March 2025. The business posted a net profit of ₹358 Crore. The company said that its net profit registered a growth of 26% on a year-on-year basis against ₹284 Crore in the previous corresponding period.
IRCTC logged a revenue of ₹1,269 Crore during the quarter ended March 2025. In the same quarter of previous year, the business posted a revenue of ₹1,152 Crore. The positive results were supported by a one-time gain of ₹45.68 Crore.
For FY25, IRCTC logged a net profit of ₹1,315 Crore. This was 18% year-on-year higher than ₹1,111 Crore in the previous comparable quarter ended March 2024.
As per the company’s filing, revenue for the full year also registered a growth of 10% to ₹4,675 Crore against ₹4,260 Crore in the previous comparable period.
IRCTC reported catering revenue almost remained flat at ₹529 Crore, against ₹531 Crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
IRCTC’s packaged drinking water business, Rail Neer, witnessed revenue growth at ₹96 Crore in the quarter under review against ₹83 Crore in Q4FY24.
The company’s web ticketing business generated stable revenue of ₹372 Crore. In the previous corresponding quarter, the business posted a revenue of ₹342 Crore. On the other hand, tourism witnessed a sharp increase to ₹274 Crore against ₹199 Crore in the same quarter of year-ago period.
