Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal of Jindal Stainless, an Indian company, stated on Thursday that the company hopes to grow its sales in Canada in the event that the government slaps tariffs on Chinese goods.
At a press conference following the results, Jindal stated, “We will be able to push even more volumes into Canada if this duty comes on China.”
The top producer of stainless steel in India, Jindal Stainless, generated a combined yearly revenue of INR 38,562 crore (about USD 4.7 billion) in FY24 and is expanding its operations to produce 4.2 million tonnes of melt capacity annually by 2026.
As of March 2024, it had 16 manufacturing and processing facilities for stainless steel in India and elsewhere, notably in Spain and Indonesia, and a global network of 12.
To improve its cost competitiveness and operational efficiency, Jindal Stainless depends on its integrated operations. Since its founding in 1970, Jindal Stainless has been dedicated to social responsibility and has been motivated by a passion for innovation and improving lives.
